The third week’s challenge takes place at the Fort at West Point. General Kosciuszko, patriot and close friend of Jefferson, designed many of the fortifications that helped decide the revolution, most notably the one West Point that serves as the focus for this week’s challenge. This particular stronghold was once Fort Benedict Arnold, however the name changed when we discovered he was selling out to the British.
The instruction from Laird begins simply enough, to search the fort for your next clue.
After closing the phone, you find yourself standing in the midst of the fort, looking out over Old Glory and the fortification. You find yourself in the fort.
You can start with the cannon, but you won’t be able to do anything, so don’t. You can view a small video clip at the flag, but it doesn’t do anything, so that’s up to you if you want to do it or not..
You can start at the opening on the right, but it won’t be any good to you at this point, so I wouldn’t recommend it. Instead, start at the opening on the left (you can also reach this if you are at the flag, but it’s easiest from here).
- Click the opening on the left to enter.
- Click the small house to approach it.
- Prior to entering, click to the left of the house, on the rocks.
- You’ll see a gear. Click it, then click it again to place in your backpack.
- Click Go Back three times to go back to the courtyard.
- Now go to the opening on the right. Click once to enter.
- Click on the fountain to approach it.
- You’ll notice an object in the water. Click on the water to pick it up. Click again to put in your backpack.
- Click Go Back twice to go back to the courtyard.
- Go back to the opening on the left. Click once to enter.
- Click the small house to approach it.
- Now click the opening to enter the house.
- Click on your backpack to see the items you have.
- Click the gear to highlight it, then click again to snap it into place.
- Click on your backpack to see the items you have.
- Click the handle, then click again to snap it into place.
- Click the handle to pull it and raise the great chain.
- Click Go Back button to go back to the courtyard.
- Click the cannon to approach the cannon.
- You can click the bottom of the cannon to aim the barrel. Click the fuse to light the cannon.
- Use these together to fire at the ship, which now must stop at the chain you have raised. The best luck I have had is to aim at the middle of the tallest hill, and to fire when the ship enters the screen.
- Once you hit the ship, you will see a brick wall with a missing brick.
- Click the bottle in the hole to open the bottle and retrieve a map.
- Click the map to store it in your backpack.
- Now go to the opening on the right side. Click once to enter.
- Click on the fountain to approach it.
- Click on your backpack to see the items you have.
- Click the cork to highlight it, then click again to snap it into place.
- Click the brick that moves when the fountain drains.
- You’re done!
That’s it for this week. Check back for next week’s challenge summary.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I was trying to catch up on past challenges and was stuck at the cannon. I googled “Treasure Hunters game cannnon” and thankfully came up with your page as a result. I was ready to throw in the towel and you saved my sanity. Thanks!
