Version 1.6.0 of the Bloglines Toolkit is now available for download. The toolkit currently supports 8 languages out-of-the-box (contact me if you want to add more) and has been configured to be compatible with the 1.5 beta version of Firefox. Those of you with automatic update checking should be getting an update notice in the near future. Enjoy.

I just tried Bloglines_Toolkit_1.6.1.xpi with firefox 1.0.7 and it indeed doesn’t work correctly – if you try to subscribe to a feed url with the right click menu, nothing seems to happen, but checking the Javascript console there’s an error
listed:
Error: gContextMenu.getLinkURL is not a function
Hi Jay –
Unfortunately, there isn’t anything that I can do to filter those items, as it’s not data provided by the Bloglines web service interface. If their side changes, I’m certain that I can change mine. Until then, nothing I can do. Sorry!
An option to have the notifier not display “keep as new” marked items would be cool.
Required extension!
I got the following error when I installed the extension and after restarting Firefox:
See the image here:

Could someone help me?
I just wanted to thank you for making such a great extention. I use it everyday. Developers like you are the reason that Firefox is such a great browser.
Thanks!!
hrm – it seems as if it’s a bloglines problem rather then an extension problem. any time i time i specify www before any of the bloglines urls, i get wierd results.
i change local install to use urls w/o the www for now. i’ll have to contact bloglins.
I don’t have time to test this enough to release it right now, but I have made a new version available for download. I’m afraid that it might break versions prior to 1.5. Check it out and let me know.
gContextMenu.linkURL() cannot be used with Firefox 1.5.
Please rewrite all the parts of gContextMenu.linkURL() to gContextMenu.getLinkURL().
When I click on the icon in the statusbar, I get the “myblogs” page without a problem. You may want to uninstall the extension and then reinstall it, to make sure that the locale info is not corrupted somehow. If those files can’t be found, or if they are incorrect somehow it might take you to the wrong location.
is anyone else having problems w/ the urls used by the toolkit?
when i click the icon in the statusbar, i go to the following url: http://www.bloglines.com/myblogs_subs and i only see my list of feeds and not the entire frameset.
it seems like the toolkit should be using this url to display the list of feeds: http://bloglines.com/myblogs
