I received a note from Simon about an extra separator line in the context menu appearing, even though the context menu had been disabled. He even sent me the code where it was happening! So I’ve whipped up another version of the toolkit. The only change is that the second separator will not display if you have the context menu disabled – if you like the separator displaying, or if you have the context menu enabled, this version will do nothing for you.

I concur, Nico. Hope to see a release for 1.0PR too.
Great extension, I love it! But since I installed FireFox 1.0PR yesterday I’m getting Bloglines Toolkit withdrawal symptoms! :S Will there be a 1.0 compatible version any time soon?
Looks like the newest Firefox nightly builds have broken compatability with lots of extensions, including BLTK:
the burning edge
I downloaded this version, and it disabled my plugins, including BLTK. :-/
auto login? maybe =)
Very nice extension. My only complaint would be the lack of sound when a new feed comes in.
It would also be nice if everyone who used stuff I wrote sent me something from my wish list or dropped something off at Paypal. But hey, we don’t live in a perfect world.
I don’t know how to trap for a middle-click, and I don’t think I’ll have time to dig for it in the immediate future, but I’ll certainly keep it on my list.
For the absolute fastest fix, change the settings in your preferences so that your links open in a new tab. Save and exit and it’ll be all set. It’s not a middle-click, but it will get the links open in a new tab.
Middle-clicking the notifier icon to open Bloglines in a new tab would be nice…
Fixed it! Many thanks! Switching between browsers all day was driving me crazy. I’ll miss Tab Browser Extensions, though. Any suggestions on a substitute?
Hi Ted – Probably not a toolkit issue, as the toolkit doesn’t affect your Bloglines interface at all. You can use the toolkit within Bloglines, but that’s a little different. Do you happen to have Tab Browser Extensions installed? If so, try disabling it. I’ve heard it causes some problems with some sites – Bloglines included.
In Firefox 0.9.3, I cannot get my feeds in the left column to open up on the right side. When I pass the cusor over the links it says javascript….Help Is this even a Bloglines Toolkit issue?
