Easily Add Snap Preview Anywhere to Movable Type »
I recently released MT-SPA which, despite the catchy name, does not provide massage services. Perhaps in a future release. No, instead this acronymically-named plugin will allow you to easily integrate the Snap Preview Anywhere™ on your Movable Type-powered site.
Snap Preview Anywhere™ (SPA) provides free link-activated preview images for websites worldwide! What does that mean to you? That you can provide your visitors with a pop-up window of what a link will look like, without them having to ever leave your site. These previews give your site visitors the ability to "look before they leap" when determining whether to click on a link. (via)
What does this mean to you? See those little icons next to the links? No? Then you either don't have JavaScript enabled, or you have disabled Snap Preview Anywhere™. Check your settings and come back later. For the rest of you, point your icon at one, and you'll see a pop-up window that shows a preview of what you can expect to see when you visit the site!
It's simple, really. It means that rather than having to constantly visit the Snap.com site to tweak your customizations, you can do so within Movable Type by using the familiar plugin settings interface. Once you have added your key to the system and chosen your settings, you can revisit the settings page as often as you like to change your options, and then you are just a rebuild away from altering the experience for your site's visitors - without having to revisit the customization page and without having to edit the code by hand.
All of this is handled by a single template tag added to each Movable Type template where you'd like to include the Snap Preview Anywhere™ code, and if you already use a common site header, then you can add it into a single template. Imagine - one template, one template tag, one rebuild and you're done!

Hi Chad,
What a gem! I wasn't aware about your plugin.
Cannot wait to give it a try and recommend it to other bloggers.
Keep up the good work!
Many thanks,
