Moe's Southwest Grill Review (Cary, NC 27513) »
Settling into the Embassy Suites on New Years Eve, we decided that we needed a bite to eat - but just about everything around had already closed. Luckily, Moe's was still open, and we managed to get inside just before they locked the doors. If you've never been to Moe's, it's something like a Subway, but instead of a sandwich, you order a burrito or quesadilla. It's a lot like a Qdoba, too, but Moe's gives you chips!
The staff here was very friendly, probably not an easy feat considering they were cleaning up and hoping to get out and start their celebrating, and here we come, messing up their work and making them go on a little bit longer.
As to the food itself, it was very fresh and quite tasty. It really hit the spot. The problem that Moe's has, along with Qdoba or even Taco Bell is that the food is "lumped" into the burrito - so your bites don't get even distributions of the food within the burrito. You might get a bite that has nothing but beans, and another with just steak and another that is all sour cream. Someone needs to figure out how to make strips so every bite gets an equal amount of every ingredient. That would be awesome.

We have Moe's here in Knoxville, TN, but I had never tried it until recently in the Charlotte area. Awesome food, and comfortable atmosphere!
BTW, found your blog through a feedmap search. I will soon be moving to the Charlotte area, and I just wanted to check out some of the area blogs.
Happy New Year!
