Christo's Original Review »
Lexington isn't a large town, so there aren't a ton of options when it comes to eating - and there are even fewer when you remove the barbecue places. When you want pizza, you do have a couple of non-chain places to go, but the best of the choices is probably going to be Christo's. The original location offers a buffet if you're eating in, and this is a good choice, as it has quite a spread.
If you're taking something to go, they have a number of offerings, of course, as any pizza place will, and while there isn't really anything surprising there in either their quality or what they offer, the fare is quite tasty.

While very true that barring the nasty little BBQ places there are only a handful of places to eat, Christo's is a place to eat... I guess. The staff is more interested in talking to one another and hiding at the back of the room and chain smoking.
The pizza buffet was cold and the dirty looking glass protector made it feel like the food had been left there rather than placed there. The person eating with me got a sub which even by their standards was sub-par (no pun intended). They could have gotten better at Quiznos or Subway.
We were told there is an upstairs "bar" which we didn't bother to check out. There are no other bars or pubs in Lexitucky (as we call it), so I doubt it is decent either.
Skip this place, along with the other mediocre BBQ places and go get a proper meal in Winston-Salem.
