Mim's Seaside Bistro Review »
Nestled amongst some condos, right on the water, this little bistro serves up some great seafood. The only problem we found with it is that they don't start serving dinner until 6pm (that's actually not an uncommon happening on St. Thomas). However, they do have a bar and they will bend their hours a bit if you don't mind sitting and relaxing, which is a pleasant way to spend a few minutes waiting for your food.
While the speciality of the house is lobster, we weren't in the mood for it that night, so we had mahi mahi and coconut shrimp, both of which were quite tasty. We also had a brie appetizer with a mango sauce that was served quickly. One downside to being right on the water is that the breeze is, well, breezy, so you may lose a napkin or two throughout the course of your meal. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is good. As with most other food on the island, the prices aren't cheap, but they aren't out of line, either.
