It took them quite a while to refurbish the inside of this place, and their efforts really show on the interior. It looks nice. It's actually rather plain, but it does look good.
We showed up around 5pm for dinner, as we had been wanting to try them for a while, and it took a bit to get served, even though we were the only people in the restaurant the entire time. It took a while to get out appetizer - a decent enough tempura dish, that included tempura lettuce, which was a first. So long that we decided we didn't really want to wait for something else.
Interesting enough, they didn't really seem to mind. I think they are geared more towards the karaoke side of business, which must happen later, because there wasn't anyone there for it when we got there.
