As you're whizzing down Folly Road to the beach, it's easy to miss this small restaurant on the side of the road, especially during the day, but at night it gets pretty crowded. The collection of cars out front makes it a dead giveaway.
While you can rent all sorts of houses at Folly Beach, there are only two hotels there, and oddly enough, both are called Holiday Inn (the other is spelled slightly differently, is about fifty years old, and isn't on the beach). This one, as rumor has it, is set to go at least partially towards the trend of condos, but for now, it provides rooms that are right on the beach, and it has a pool as well as a dining room and it's right in the middle of the beach, which is nice.
