China House Restaurant Review »
This is one of three China House locations in Charlotte, and so far as I can tell, they are all related to one another. This is actually a bit strange, as they really share very little other than signage - the interiors don't look much alike, and the food isn't very similar, except for it is Chinese. Even the service varies widely between the three locations.
I just happened to be at this location because it's the closest to my house. This particular one isn't the best of the three, but it isn't the worst, either. The food is decent, but it generally falls into one of two categories. It is either decently flavored, with very heavy sauce (this is most of the food), or it has very little flavor with very little sauce to the point that it is almost dry. There is really very little in-between. The service is decent, though not overly friendly.
