Last night, the Carolina Hurricanes whipped up on the Edmonton Oilers in game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals to bring North Carolina its first major league trophy of any kind. Of course, there are those who would argue that hockey isn't really a major league sport, and you are entitled to your opinion.
It looks like NBC is getting into the game with their new Treasure Hunters show. They have created a Treasure Hunters Challenge site that you can play to enhance the experience. While not as immense in scope as The Hanso Foundation, it's still not bad (and you may win money). What's more is that it seems to have some end in site, while The Lost Experience seems almost never-ending.
The first challenge takes you to the Inside Passage, a shipping lane from Washington to Alaska. During the revolution, the British explorers described mystic totem poles in the Land of the Golden Spruce. Your task is to find the Golden Spruce and find the puzzle piece that exists there. Though you don't get a whole lot of detail here, you don't really need much either. Just know that this is the starting point for your adventure in the Treasure Hunters Challenge.
I can't seem to get rid of these headaches, but at least they're only coming at night. So before bed, I'm taking a couple of pills to allow me to drift to sleep. Thus far, it's working and I'm managing to get a bit of sleep.
