Don't Back Down

Television on the Internet »

All the rage lately seems to be the announcement of shows that you can find online. Of course, those are small (resolution-wise), they cost, and the selection isn't large. Are there other options? Of course there are. Channelchooser offers 70 channels of streaming video (via), though you may or may not want what it offers (men in underwear?). Peekvid, meanwhile, offers you television shows (via) - some 700 of them, apparently. But it may or may not be legal. The quality is good, as is the selection. But it might not be around long.

Here's one I proposed to the W3C back in 1995:

<television show="Gilligans Island" commercials="off">
