A Fresh New Look »
I've just completed putting the finishing touches on the revamp of the site (version 4.0, in case you're keeping tabs at home). Nothing overly special about this revision, except I'm tired of keeping it fresh, so I ripped out all the old code and used someone else's that makes it easier on me.
In a nutshell, I took the Blue Crush theme offered by Six Apart, tweaked it to be more to my tastes, then tweaked it a bit more and came up with the new layouts for the Everitz Consulting site (the main page is still customized, I'll get to that later perhaps - check out MT-Notifier). Then I changed up the colors and came up with the My Life as a Blog variant, and then rolled the dice once more for what you've got here at Don't Back Down.
One basic layout, some small tweaks, and a nice consistent presentation with a minimum of fuss. It took a bit longer to get here than I wanted, but I'm happy with the results and I think it'll be a lot nicer down the road. In the meantime, let me know if you run into any problems with anything. I think I found all the customized pages, but I may have missed some archives or something, so if you find any, let me know so that I can take care of them.

VERY, very nice Chad. I like it. :-)

P.S. The commenting process doesn't seem to be working properly. The comment preview screen has no styles, and after submitting from the preview screen, I'm returned to a blank page.

You just can't leave it alone, can you?
Actually, I rather like it. It's like your other blog. Although I liked the blue theme you had there better than the current color theme. But I am partial to blue.

Peter - I forgot about the system templates. Formatting should be fixed now.
I also had made some changes to the comment processing code to handle the pop-up window on the prior model, which should be handled now.
Ted - Generally, no. But I'm done for a while now - provided I have fixed everything.
I also like the prior blue theme, but I wanted to make it so I didn't have to maintain several different themes, yet I wanted to have some differentiator.
I think the blue is the most soothing, so I left it on the business site to keep some constant. I think I like it.
Let me know if you see any more problems!

The only problem I see is the strike through font in a couple of places.

It's probably not a problem - though I understand that you are pointing it out as one. :)
In other words, I did it intentionally. I'm not sure if I'll leave it, but I like the look.
It shows you where you've been. If they show as strike-through, then you know you've been there.
You can, of course, go back, but you also know quickly that you've been there. Only these visited links will show as strike-through.

OK. I didn't realize it was on purpose. Color is the usual method. But font works too.
