On our recent trip (the same one involving this poor experience), we had occasion to stay in another hotel - the Embassy Suites in Historic Charleston. Historic is right - the place was constructed in the shell of the old Citadel building, right in the middle of the Charleston peninsula. It might not be the exact center, but you get the idea.
Yesterday I worked the Wuzzles in the local paper for the first time in a good bit. This was incidentally the first time I had received a paper copy in a while, actually.
In light of recent events, Denise and I have been talking and we decided that something that I no longer do (or do often) is read the paper. Don't get me wrong. Denise and I talk quite often. I also read the contents of the paper pretty regularly. But I do so online. In fact, I do so in Bloglines because I'm an RSS junkie and don't like visiting web sites if I don't have to do so.
