My Chair is on Order! »
I bit the bullet and ordered the chair. It's supposed to be here sometime next week - likely Thursday. I can hardly wait. Who would have thought I could be so excited about a chair? Especially such an expensive one? Yet I am. I can hardly wait for it to arrive.

I have a client that every employee has one of these chairs. I immediately recognized them for what they were. I have sat in them to work on their system. I can't say I thought they were worth the price. They were OK. I think I'd still rather sit on my sofa.

Yes, I agree it is expensive. But they are wonderfully supportive. And unfortunately my sofa doesn't fit well in front of the computer desk. And most importantly, yes, it is a business expense (the business in fact footed the bill). We'll see how it goes.

You know those big balls that you blow up they sell for exercise? I have one client that sits on one for her "chair". I guess she feels it improves her posture. She's a client so I just say, "Interesting." and then quickly move to a different subject.

Chad, don't worry - it's a good choice. I have been using one for the past two years at work and they are brilliant. As good as new today as the day we got them. (If only they would spend as much money on the PC's we use!)
