Enhanced Template Header »

I know that the new Movable Type just came out, so I probably ought not to make feature requests at this point. Tough. I have one.

Invariably I'm editing templates and I need to jump from the one I'm in - let's just call it an index template - to another, perhaps a template module. The problem? I have to click "templates", then click the "modules" tab to get there. That's two clicks, where it used to be one click and a small scroll. Luckily, the solution is easy.

The actual template list looks something like this:

So how about simply including that enhanced header, even when you're editing an individual template? That way I could not only jump to another section, such as the module that I needed above, but I could create a new template or I could even check out publishing settings. That would be sweet. So... how about it, Six Apart? Can I get it on the list?

I'm tired of adding plugins. I think this would be a useful addition to all users, without having to jump through hoops to get there. Because of the likelihood of a maintenance release (I've already recorded one bug and another possible one), why not throw in something like this, that shouldn't take much time?
