Refrigerator Cleaning Burrito »
A few minutes ago, I realized I hadn't eaten all day and that I ought to find something. Incidentally, since we had been gone for a lengthy trip, I also figured that it was time to clean out the fridge. In a fit of absolute brilliance, I decided I should combine the two. A very tasty lunch was the result.
First, the last of a bag of flour tortillas served as the bed for my burrito. Some refried beans from before we left on our trip was the mattress cover. I threw in some chorizo bits from lunch the other day (the top sheet), then liberally applied some chicken corn potato chowder soup on top. We'll call this the comforter.
This last ingredient was from a rather large homemade batch of soup supplied by my wife a couple of weeks ago. Many people might not want to let those ingredients sit that long. My wife is beautiful, the food tasted good, and most importantly it didn't smell, so I added it. The choice is yours.
Finally, I spread some cheddar cheese on top of the mix, and then layered a bit of Pace's over the whole shebang. Rolled it up and stuck it in the microwave for a couple of minutes, and wham! Talk about a tasty snack. It was so good, I made another one. Unfortunately I'm now out of most of the fixin's, and what I do have is fresh, relatively speaking. I'll need to let things age in the fridge before I am lucky enough to have another of these babies.
