Rumor has it that Cookie Monster will learn that cookies are a sometimes food. What kind of nonsense is this? While it sounds like there is a bit of fun to the whole thing: Cookie Monster appears to be happy with the new "sometimes food" song, because at the end he warbles: "Is sometimes now?", it's just wrong. This isn't the Vegetable Monster, after all.
Want to send a better message to kids? How about not having a game called Toss a Salad With Cookie Monster? Have these people never heard of Chris Rock? It's not okay to eat cookies, but it is okay to toss salads!
