Finally Cherry Vanilla »
Way back during the Super Bowl, we saw an ad for Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. For the last few weeks, we've been looking for it without success. Finally I went to Walgreens to pick up a prescription, and lo and behold they had some in stock!
So I picked up a couple bottles and brought it home with me. Denise and I had some over ice, and found that, well, it wasn't that special. It tasted like a slightly flat version of regular Dr. Pepper (and we had the regular, not the diet). The cherry was very apparent - a red tint to the drink, and the bubbles generate a very strong cherry scent. The flavor, however, was not terribly strong. I can't say that we noticed the vanilla at all.
Very disappointing.
