I finally broke down and updated all the templates to the new look. I think I got all of them. I know the search results template still needs work, and the comment error template probably does as well. Dang, I forgot the stylesheet for the feeds, so that one needs work. But it's pretty close.
During the process, I decided to remove the Javascript from my comment templates. First, it probably wasn't working - I looked at it, and because of conflicting references, I don't know how it could have worked. Second, I just decided not to mess with it.
I also took this opportunity to remove some old templates that just weren't in use any longer, so now my template list is much nicer (and a whole lot shorter!). Please let me know if you see any problems other than those listed above.
Update: I finally installed Amputator, a sweet Movable Type plugin that replaces all dangling ampersands (&) with the entity to represent the ampersand (&).
Hopefully that should mean the end of the non-well-formed pages that pop up from time to time. I might have missed a tag or two, however, so please let me know if you see this again and I'll get right on it. I'm hoping that this moves me one step closer to being truly bulletproof.
I can dream, can't I?

Looks really good - I like the typewritery feel. Your links to categories aren't right, though - you're linking to "about_a_blog" here, for example, instead of "/about_a_blog". :)

Thanks for the note, Beth - turns out I had several issues related to the templates. I had tried to avoid rebuilding them since I made a few changes. I think they should be fixed up now after I rebuilt everything. Please let me know if you see any other problems!
