Are you concerned about terrorism? I don't mean in a general, worldwide, sort of way. I mean on a regular, even daily, basis. I know I'm not. That doesn't mean that I don't think there is any reason for concern (so no need to prove me wrong, Osama). It simply means that, on a daily basis, I don't think that the activities in which I engage are particularly good targets for terrorism. And if I should happen to be on a plane or train, or perhaps even a boat or a car, and become a victim of terrorism? Then perhaps I should have been more concerned and you can all stick out your tongues at me.

Dishwasher Problems »

Surprisingly enough, it isn't the installation. The problem is that our new dishwasher holds so much that we often run out of stuff to use prior to needing to run the dishwasher through a cleaning cycle. Used to be that we'd pretty much be ready to wash slightly before we actually ran out. Now we're having to send it through when it's less than completely full just so that we'll have something to use! Nice problem to have, I suppose. But how annoying. Maybe I should add some glasses to my wish list. My birthday is next week, you know.

Politcal Responsibility »

Eight months ago, I wrote about my ongoing issues with animal licensing. In that post, I mentioned that my representative, Nancy Carter, didn't believe that the animal could be seized.

I also spoke with now-departed council member Lynn Wheeler about the code, and she agreed. Yet in that same post, I mentioned that I spoke with the CMPD, and that was in fact not the case. They are responsible for enforcing the code, and they will seize the animal if necessary.
