100K and Counting »
Our 1996 Honda Odyssey LX passed one hundred thousand miles over the weekend. It was actually manufactured in October of 1995, meaning it just turned 9 - that means it's running at a rate of slightly more than eleven thousand miles per year thus far. Hopefully it will be one of those wonderful Honda stories where the vehicle runs and runs. That way we don't have to buy a new car anytime soon.

My 1994 Camry recently turned over 199000 miles, and now it's at around 199250... less than 1000 miles to go until 200k!
One of my co-workers finally donated her mid-90's Honda Civic, which had well over 200k miles (the odometer broke after 200k, so she isn't sure exactly how many miles she got out of it). Recently she thinks she saw some immigrant workers driving it at a local mall. :-)
