Don't Back Down

100K and Counting »

Our 1996 Honda Odyssey LX passed one hundred thousand miles over the weekend. It was actually manufactured in October of 1995, meaning it just turned 9 - that means it's running at a rate of slightly more than eleven thousand miles per year thus far. Hopefully it will be one of those wonderful Honda stories where the vehicle runs and runs. That way we don't have to buy a new car anytime soon.

The Week in Review »

I've added a week in review section to the archives. This will list the seven days prior to the last post, and each day will be linked only if there are entries on that day. Working on the dynamic thing, as that would be infinitely cooler. Maybe another feature ransom soon.

Come Out for the Cue »

This coming Saturday (November 6) we'll be having a barbecue at our church. Just six bucks for a plate (or three sandwiches), and all proceeds go towards our (that is, the church's) mission projects.

Currently on the slate are continuing disaster recovery efforts in Western North Carolina, a trip to Nicaragua and ongoing missions in the Middle East. The food will be served from 11:00am to 7:00pm. If you'd like to help support these causes, join us this Saturday. Hope to see you there!
