Movable Type 3.1 »
I've installed the new 3.1 release of Movable Type on the site. I've had beta versions installed for a while now, and decided I'd install the new release as it doesn't seem to differ a whole lot from the latest release candidates.
I will not be using the dynamic publishing feature at the moment. For one, I had some problems with it during the beta testing. For another, I'm working on some redesigns anyway. Since I'll have to rebuild at least once, I'll hold off for now.
This also serves as a test post to see if everything is working correctly. If you see any problems, they will hopefully be temporary. If they don't go away after a reasonable amount of time, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Update: The saving of entries is fast. Unfortunately, indexes and archives don't seem to be building correctly. That could be a problem.
Update: As with prior versions, you need to make sure your plugins are installed if you are using them. Once I installed the plugins that I'm using in my templates, it looks like everything is building correctly. Cool.
Update: Two more plugins and three search templates later and everything should be working. Let me know if you see any problems.
Update: Validation isn't working at the moment. May not have been for a while, as I haven't checked recently. I'll look into it, but it may not happen today. Pages seem to render correctly in browsers who care (ie, Firefox), so hopefully it won't be a problem.
