Don't Back Down

Today is the third day without school in Charlotte. The kids were about to explode.

Unfortunately, the yard is still covered with ice chunks - certainly useful for young boys to play with, but probably not a good choice of toys for a responsible dad, and well, I need all the points I can get on that measurement.

Instead, we packed up and headed to Chuck E. Cheese. While I was cleaning, I had found a cup full of tokens, so I grabbed a handful and printed a coupon from their web site to get even more tokens free with the purchase of a large pizza. It worked out well.

Anyway, as I'm standing there filling our cups, I notice the little beverage labels above each dispenser. Nothing unusual at first glance, but then I noticed the "fruit drink" labels. As most any parent probably wants to make an attempt at health, I'm sure you'll see your fair share of parents filling the cups with lemonade or fruit punch, on the assumption that these will be marginally better than your typical soft drink. Apparently not:
