Sorta White Tuesday »
Well, we've seen once again how Charlotte can be shut down over a miniscule amount of bad weather. On Tuesday, Denise and I returned from Buffalo, New York. There was a bunch of snow on the ground, a snow fell throughout the weekend as we made our way to Toronto and back. Yet the roads were consistently in good shape and it didn't seem as if anyone was taking the day off because of the weather - including us!
Yet back here in Charlotte, we've seen a touch of snow (on Sunday), a bit of freezing rain (on Monday) and even some freezing mist (today). The roads are generally back to normal, but there are still slick patches all about. The boys are out of school again tomorrow, and there are undoubtedly still some business closed.
I just find it interesting how different parts of the world work so, well, differently.
