Don't Back Down

Geek Weakly »

First, a little artwork. Jason Griffey pointed the way to Mr. Picassohead, a flash implementation of monumental proportions. This thing is great. There is even a gallery where you can see the creations of others. And the best part? You get to see this representation of me!

It's that time of year. New items are bought, old ones are relegated to the pile of has-beens, where they deteriorate until no one can recognize them any longer, or decide why in the world they would have purchased them in the first place. But not this year. Show that special geek the way to the instructions on hacking the old Billy Bass. (Editor's Note: I think I've included this link before, but I couldn't find it, and this sort of thing never goes out of style, so here it is again!)

Or perhaps you're more of an old-school fan. You like to build things yourself, say with Legos? Then you'll surely enjoy The Brick Apple, where other fans of Legos gather to share their recreations of New York City (courtesy Slashdot).

Here's hoping that you and your closest geeks have a wonderful holiday season. See you next week.
