MT-Notifier 1.3.0 »
Because of some difficulties with the distribution package, I've updated the version of MT-Notifier to 1.3.0 to indicate a "clean" distribution. In order to minimize confusion, though I might actually create more, I've also noted version 1.3.0 as the version that adds support for the conversion of ScriptyGoddess subscriptions.
Speaking of which: MT-Notifier now supports the importing of subscriptions from the Scripty Goddess Subscribe to Comments format.
If you have installed version 1.2.0, make sure to update at least notifier.pm in order to take advantage of the Scripty Goddess conversion routine. You probably will also want to update mt-notifier.cgi so that the version numbers match in the comments, but it really shouldn't matter all that much if you don't.
My apologies for making things difficult while trying to make them easier. I promise I'll just keep everything confusing next time instead of trying to simplify and then confusing even more when I realize I didn't do a very good job at simplifying things!

Thank you. =)

I love the plugin, it's much faster than the ScriptyGoddess version I was running, and I like that it integrates so well with MT.
But why haven't you put it into the Plugin Manager? It would make it much easier to keep track of the new versions.

Hi Matt -
I'm glad you like MT-Notifier!
I have had email correspondence with Kristine about getting listed in the mt-plugins directory, if that's what you're asking. Unfortunately, I don't have much control over that process. :)
If that's not what you're asking, you'll need to give me more information, as I'm not certain what you mean.
In the meantime, if you use a news aggregator, you can subscribe to the MT-Notifier category feed and keep up on announcements.

Thanks. I'm using it on my website now. Why don't you have trackback enabled or am I missing something? (Nevermind, I found it.)

Hello! from Tokyo Japan.
This is the Plug-in that I have long wanted! I am so happy!
But when I try to access mt-notifier.cgi, I got the following error:
Can't locate Storable.pm in @INC (...)
I got the Storable.pm.
After installing Storable.pm under extlib directry, I got another error:
Can't locate loadable object for module Storable in @INC (...)
Do you have any idea to solve this? Or the Perl is just too old?
Any suggestion will be very much appreciated.
Thank you! (^_^)/
